If you think cringey TV series are only made in Russia, 'Vanished' will sharply prove you wrong

The mini-series starring Kaley Cuoco from 'The Big Bang Theory', Sam Claflin from 'The Hunger Games', and Matthias Schweighöfer from Germany looks on paper like an interesting thriller about a suddenly vanished fiancé (right during a trip through France) and a web of intrigue that, among other things, includes human trafficking.

In reality, it's such second-rate crap that you're amazed (you even recall the phrase 'you're amazed'). Starting with an opening sequence at the level of TV projects on Russia-1, ending with moments where Cuoco's character, who is wanted, does her hair (!). Over 4 episodes, there's a whole bunch of such episodes where your hand just reaches for your face (especially in this regard, the unkillable journalist trying to help the main character tried hard).

The only bright spot in this story is the scenery of Marseille. The local streets are much more alive than the characters here and the photocopied script.
