⚡️ "BUREAU 1440": First Satellite Communications Units in Orbit

On the evening of March 23, the first batch launch of the low-orbit constellation "Rassvet" took place - 16 satellites of the Russian aerospace company "BUREAU 1440" were sent into orbit at once.

The launch was carried out using a Soyuz-2.1B rocket: the units were placed into a reference orbit, after which they separated and were taken under control by the company's flight control center.
💥 The units are built on their own platform and are equipped with a set of technologies for modern satellite networks.

As well as support for 5G NTN, laser inter-satellite communication, and plasma engines for maneuvering.

For global coverage, plans call for deploying more than 250 units.
