About the forum that Sergei and I recently gathered 400 people for... all of them are in the forum chat here.

A forum or any event is not just a gathering. It's a product!

Who knows the difference between a Product, a Service, a Good, a Product Line, and Products (in terms of food)? And if it's all the same, why so many terms and what are they for in our language?

"He who does not know the meaning of words is doomed to delusion" (Stas Yesenin)

What is the product of the forum?
- networking and its positive consequences for years to come.
- new knowledge, emotions, experience, insights.
- saving effort, time, and money on finding solutions, people, partners, friends, and clients.
- strengthening personal brand through broadcasting activity on social media.
- for the speaker: warm-ups, trust, clients, sales, subscribers, experience, money.
- for organizers: status, experience, growth of social capital, clients, subscribers.
- for partners and sponsors: creating a presence strategy for profit, not just advertising.
etc...

☝🏻 All this is the composition of the forum product. If you look at it this way, it becomes clear HOW to make a cool forum that will be remembered for a long time and people will be more willing to buy tickets in the future.

But if you neglect the little things in organization and focus only on ticket sales and direct monetization, it's an epic fail! Especially nowadays...

Yes, we didn't manage to gather 600 people as planned. But we gathered 400... In just one month! 💪

* For comparison, usually to gather such a forum, organizers allocate 3 to 5 months for preparation.

I'll be honest - few believed in such a "miracle." Gathering 400 people, and even in lazy Krasnodar, is a feat, I tell you 😁

Yes, we didn't manage to implement 100% of what we planned, and about 5-7 cool ideas fell through... But even so, we received a lot of feedback with words like "guys, for Krasnodar this is very cool, the best forum in the last year."

I'm sure that the future forum, which we are already starting to work on, will simply blow the audience away.

By the way, AN IMPORTANT METRIC - it would seem... I personally noticed and received such feedback - "I came to an event for the first time where I don't know anyone" - a person whom every dog in the city knows told me.

But I also met few acquaintances this time. This means we reached those whom other organizers couldn't reach. 💪

In short - I am now not just a strong theorist on creating events, but also with experience in applying my ideas from A to Z:
* PR and performance,
* creating a psychological map of the event and the customer journey,
* creative solutions,
* producing success factors,
* creating scenarios,
* creating a logical and convenient event program,
* writing unique scripts for partners,
* creating a strategy for partner behavior at the forum.
