🍿 First Look at the Second Season of 'Dark Matter'

Apple TV has officially announced the premiere date for the second season of the sci-fi hit 'Dark Matter' — August 28, 2026.

Returning in the lead roles are Joel Edgerton (Golden Globe nominee) and Jennifer Connelly (Academy Award winner). They will be joined by Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, and Oakes Fegley.

The series is based on Blake Crouch's bestseller — one of the most talked-about sci-fi novels of the last decade. Crouch returns as showrunner and screenwriter. The second season will consist of 10 episodes — one more than the first.

Filming wrapped in July 2025 in Chicago, after which the team entered six months of post-production. Critics called the first season "first-class science fiction," "a thrilling ride," and "one of the best series of the year."
