Here's an interesting thing I found for you. A product management framework in the age of AI.

In other words, it's a concept of what product management could look like with strong AI integration into the company's perimeter. The model looks promising. Especially since it's in Russian, so I recommend reading it for about 15 minutes.

Scrum will not die, but it will inevitably transform, as teams will have fewer people, which means fewer artifacts and meetings for synchronization. This might be for the better, since in classic Scrum, team meetings take up 10-15% of total working time. With the new approach, synchronization might take only a few hours over a two-week sprint, mainly for retro and review.

The classic T-shaped specialist model (deep expertise in one area + basic understanding of adjacent ones) is becoming a thing of the past. It is being replaced by the comb-shaped model, where an employee, with the help of AI agents, covers several functional areas at an expert level. The only mandatory role is the Product Engineer.

The size of the product team is smaller than that of a scrum team, thanks to the advantages of Cortex as an AI-based "operating system." Thanks to it, specialists in the team have comb-shaped competencies, so their number and set of competencies can vary depending on the object of management and available resources. PAF defines only one necessary role in the team - the product engineer. In fact, the team can consist of even a single person who is responsible for the entire cycle of research, design, production, launch, and further development of the product. The key rule is the team's ability to independently realize the life cycle of its object of management.


P.S. A team consisting of one person is a favorite topic of entertaining videos on social networks: there is a company founder who assembled his own factory from Claude agents. There are no implemented cases of "one person = full cycle" in the enterprise yet. However, the trend is obvious.
