I've been into vibe coding for only a month. I started after GPT-5.6 came out. A couple of months ago, redoing things for the neural network took longer than doing it myself. Now the quality is such that my involvement is minimal.

Why Codex and not Claude Code? The base subscriptions cost the same — $20. But with Codex, for that money I also get all the tools: texts, images, documents, and Deep Research. For my tasks, that's more than enough.

Maybe because I don't make bots that monitor exchange rates or are trained on the works of Freud.

And another funny observation. I increasingly meet people with "5–7 years of experience with neural networks." It's especially funny when it comes specifically to modern AI tools for development.

Claude Code only appeared in February 2025. That is, real experience with these specific tools in such quantities cannot exist.

If you count experience that way, then I have over 12 years — I worked with neural networks back in university labs 😂
