Why I decided to combine yoga with SMR?

It may seem that yoga and SMR are from different worlds. Yoga is about asanas, breathing, and mindfulness. SMR is about massage, balls, rollers, and sometimes strange sensations in the body 😅

But in fact, they are a great team! SMR prepares the body. Yoga teaches how to use it 🧩

Self-massage and myofascial release help:
✨ reduce excessive muscle tension
✨ improve tissue glide and blood circulation
✨ restore sensitivity in areas that have long been out of attention.

After SMR, the body becomes softer, more pliable, and more receptive. Not necessarily flexible right away! But definitely more "listening".

🧘‍♀And this is where yoga comes in.

In asanas, we:
* learn to move in a new range, thereby consolidating it
* build support and stability
* return movement to healthier patterns

SMR reduces protective tension. Yoga helps the body adapt to changes. If you only do SMR, you can relax, but not learn to move in a new way. This means that tension will return, again and again.

After such a class, you won't exclaim: "I worked hard!" but will gladly notice: "I feel lighter" 🧖‍♀

If this is the feeling you want to bring back to your body, come to Yoga + SMR classes.
We meet on Tuesdays at 6:15 PM and Saturdays at 10:00 AM 🌿
