"Now that you are leaving, please accept this small token of appreciation on behalf of Dubai.
We are sincerely grateful for how you handled that unusual situation in recent days.
Dubai always prioritizes the safety and well-being of all citizens, residents, and guests, and we hope you were able to see that for yourself.
We wish you a safe return and look forward to welcoming you again"
They say that those currently departing from Dubai are given such postcards at passport control.
Cool. Even regardless of my great love and respect for Dubai – it's always very cool when a country does its own marketing.
I really liked it when, upon arriving in Georgia, I was given a small bottle of wine. And I don't remember where and when else, but I remember being touched several times at the moment of "first and last contact with the country" – when these contacts were orchestrated and it was clear that someone had thought about it.
I wrote it and thought: why "regardless of my warm attitude towards Dubai"? In fact, my relationship with this city is largely shaped by my marketer's intuition – I see that this product has been carefully and thoroughly created for people's convenience. With consultants, with a customer journey, with every touchpoint thought through.
And even when the country (or insert the word "organization" here) faces problems – it does not turn a blind eye to them and honestly tries to show that it understands the situation and the emotions of customers.
After all, either an organization is customer-oriented and this manifests itself always and everywhere, or it is not.
May our companies and organizations always behave beautifully!
