According to a study by Habr, HR Club, AKIT, and Cyberproject — 2/3 of companies regularly encounter experience inflation by candidates.

Candidates most often claim:
⚡️fake achievements and competencies — 81%;
⚡️exaggerated work experience — 77%;
⚡️experience at companies they never worked for — 68%;
⚡️completely fictitious resumes — 48%.

Inflation is usually detected during the selection stage:
▶️when analyzing resumes — 23%;
▶️during negotiations with the candidate — 25%;
▶️at the first interview — 29%;
▶️at subsequent stages — 9%;
▶️when hiring — 12%;
▶️during the probation period — 2%.

65% of employers consider falsification unacceptable, while 35% are willing to overlook it if the candidate performs well.

Who hasn't embellished a resume, but I was surprised by the 48%!!! of completely fictitious resumes.

What do you think, is it okay to embellish a resume? Or to invent experience?
