🌏 Artemis II Crew Photographs Rare Solar Eclipse

A set of images of Earth behind the Moon and a rare solar eclipse from deep space.

The crew, including Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, took about 10,000 images, documenting areas of the Moon that humans had not seen before.
The astronauts also witnessed a solar eclipse from behind the Moon, observing a sight rarely seen in human history.

From their perspective, the Moon completely blocked the Sun, revealing the corona and faint structures described as "baby hair."
