I am currently at the Data Fusion conference, where representatives of the government and big business spoke: Dmitry Grigorenko, Vladimir Kiriyenko, Andrey Kostin, Elvira Nabiullina. It is quite surprising that each of these people expressed that there is no need to overly regulate the AI market and the technologies themselves.

We just need to carefully support from a regulatory perspective and not hinder development.

Surprising, because you have probably all heard about the planned ban on foreign LLMs in 2027.

But from the conference stage, I hear a clear trend of openness and minimal restrictions.

Well, I hope these were not just words.
