WILD HYPE

Today I spent the whole day in Skolkovo discussing innovations in security.

There was NOT A SINGLE presentation that didn't mention AI. NOT ONE!

I have a few thoughts on this:

1. On one hand, it's understandable - with the right skills, you start drowning in an endorphin tsunami from the opportunities and speed you gain. Personally, I already feel a sense of addiction.

2. Against this backdrop, there's an acute fear of missing out; it feels like you're constantly falling behind the development of neural networks - that's stress.

3. How uneven the skills and understanding are among different target audiences. Skeptics still make me smile, but it seems they are a dying breed.

4. Exposure allows you to quickly and easily recognize traces of AI work in materials. Slides are monotonous, words are chosen similarly, phrases are recognizable. Only the lazy haven't launched a factory of mass-produced content on Telegram and other social networks.

5. But the main conclusion is that we have truly stepped into a new era of technology development. No, not stepped - we were pushed, and each of us will have our own landing: some will be able to dive into the sea of opportunities, while others will crash hard.
