"Beyond the Screen"

The online space has become one of the main places for meeting and communication. Visually, it often appears light and attractive, but behind this facade lies a complex emotional experience that rarely becomes visible — anxiety, anticipation, and disappointment. Here, it's easy to feel like part of an endless catalog, where you are judged by a few photos and a short description.

Working on the project became a way for me to explore what happens to a person "beyond the image" and how the external form may not match the internal state.

The photo project is designed as a deck of associative cards: the viewer chooses a card that visually resonates, and on the back is the answer to the question "What are you like beyond the screen?", creating an effect of play and interactive engagement. The cards do not provide a direct answer but leave room for interpretation, allowing the viewer to relate what they see to their own experience.
