I want to share the results of the Product Management research by ProductSense and X5.

💰 Salaries
Senior — 300–550k, CPO — 475–650k. The larger the company, the higher the ranges.

📈 Market
25% are actively looking for a job (was 18% in 2024). The importance of salary has for the first time equaled interest in the product.

🛠 Skills
The main development focus is AI (37% set it as a goal for 2026), while currently only 10% of companies have integrated it into processes.

🔮 Forecast
46% expect the product manager role to shift toward strategy, 40% expect the emergence of AI roles.

There was an optional question: "What was the main lesson you learned this year?" and, wow, it's not all about AI! Although AI had the most answers, of course. But there is also food for thought:

🔺 "Career growth largely depends on relationships built with management and colleagues, not on results and expertise."

🔺 "To grow within a company, it's not enough to work well: you need to do internal 'marketing' of your work, talk loudly and often about how great you did everything (even if you just did it normally)."

There is also plenty of data on grades, industries, skills, and all that. You can view it on the website from a desktop, download a PDF, and poke the dashboard* with your hands.

*the dashboard works with three well-known letters.
